Service
Gentle, specialist treatment for surgical scars, helping you restore comfort, movement and connection with your body.
"A scar is not just a mark on the skin. It can affect how you move, how you feel, and how connected you are to your own body. Scar therapy can change all of that."
Surgical scars are often treated as an afterthought, something to be grateful for, not something to address. But scar tissue can have a profound effect on how your body functions and how you feel in it. Tightness, pulling, numbness, hypersensitivity, restricted movement: these are all signs that your scar needs care.
Whether you've had a caesarean section, breast surgery, a hysterectomy or any other procedure, specialist scar therapy can make a meaningful difference, even years after surgery.
I work with a particular sensitivity around oncology scars, understanding that breast surgery and cancer treatment carry their own emotional weight alongside the physical. Sessions are always led by you, at your pace, with full respect for your experience.

When can I start scar therapy?
For most surgical scars, treatment can begin once the wound has fully closed, typically around 6–8 weeks post-surgery. However, we can begin desensitisation work and gentle preparation earlier. For older scars, it's never too late. Scar tissue can respond to treatment years after surgery.
Is scar therapy painful?
Treatment is always guided by your comfort. Some areas around a scar can be sensitive or numb, and we work gently and gradually. Many clients find the sessions deeply relaxing, and any discomfort is minimal and temporary.
Can you treat a C-section scar even if it's years old?
Absolutely. Scar tissue continues to remodel for years, and many women notice significant improvements in older scars, including reduced tightness, improved sensation and better core function, even a decade or more after surgery.
I've had breast cancer surgery. Is this safe for me?
Yes. I work sensitively with women who have had oncology surgery, including mastectomy, lumpectomy and reconstruction. Treatment is always adapted to your individual situation, and I'll liaise with your medical team if needed.
